Tim, Scott, Brandon, Vicki, Josh, Colleen

First live call in two weeks, and most of what we talked about last time got done while Josh was out. The product descriptions are the big one. That whole rewrite is live now, over 3,000 products, not just the first wave we showed you on the 5th. All the collection pages are rewritten too, the Blickle price increase is in, and the form spam is shut down. With most of the catalog cleanup behind us, the next push is the material handling stuff (the new Moving Equipment category and the B&P line) and getting the pushcart campaign out. A few decisions from last call are still open, those are flagged below.

Quick note. Josh is back. No call ran June 12 (both Josh and Tim were out), so this is the first live session since June 5. A few items below are marked carried forward from June 5, meaning they were not closed while Josh was out and still need a decision.

What shipped while Josh was out

Product descriptions, the full rollout is live

Two weeks ago we showed you the first wave, about 135 products. It's now over 3,000 live, basically the whole active catalog. That's the description on the page plus the title and blurb that show up in Google. These were all written by hand, not run off a script, and each one got checked before it went up so the specs are right and nothing reads like filler. If anything looks off on a live page it's easy to pull back, one product at a time. A handful are held back on purpose until we get specs from your team, those are the new material handling products, more on that below.

Worth a look on the call: the before/after page is live at cc-rewrite-report.pages.dev. Good to walk a couple of side-by-sides so Tim can see the lift.

Collection pages built out and rewritten

All the collection pages got rewritten this month, 211 of them, 56 brand new. They're sorted so your best sellers show up first now instead of landing in whatever order, so the top of every category page is the stuff that actually moves. We've got a full clickable list of all 211 ready to send if you want to click through any of them.

Blickle price update pushed

Blickle raised their prices about 4.5%, so we got that updated across the catalog on the 16th. Everything's current and the margins are where they should be.

Contact-form spam shut down

The spam coming through the forms is handled. We put protection on all three (contact, quote, and the wholesale signup) and it's been holding since. If you're still seeing any get through, let us know and we'll tighten it up.

Albion bearing typo cleaned up

The "Pedestral" bearing typo from a couple weeks ago is fixed. We corrected it on all 158 Albion products that had it (the 110 Kingpinless and 28 Maintenance Free lines), so the spec reads right on those pages now. Done and verified, nothing needed on your end.

What we need from you

Tim / Brandoncarried forwardHamilton pricing policy, the Pronto publish decision. The cost-vs-market workbook with a recommended price on every SKU has been in your inbox since June 4. This is still the thing that unblocks publishing the 432-product Pronto catalog. Three calls to make: sign off on the best-price-per-SKU approach at a 20% margin floor (or pick another option from the tab); confirm the 65 discontinued SKUs don't publish at those part numbers; and decide carry-or-don't-carry on the 19 underwater and 252 thin SKUs.
Tim / BrandonPushcart campaign, ready to send. Colleen has the email sequence built for the 29x42 heavy-duty utility cart. Since it's a request-a-quote product, the plan is to send it, watch who opens and clicks, and hand you a list of engaged buyers to follow up on. Two quick confirms to launch: the channel (email, or email plus a homepage feature), and whether it runs on Caster Central or Deluxe. One yes and it goes out.
Tim / BrandonMaterial handling nav, the cleanup. We're adding a Moving Equipment category and grouping the hand trucks, dollies, the pushcart, and the Johnson pry bars under it. We're re-filing the existing collections rather than deleting them so we keep the URLs and the SEO they've built up. Quick confirm on that approach and it goes in, and the new B&P hand trucks slot right into it.
Tim / Shawncarried forwardB&P first wave, the product data. Scope is locked from the June 3 call with Shawn: 5 to 10 A-runner hand trucks plus a couple of platform carts to start. The first sheet (HTA-0001) came in, thanks. To set sell prices and build the listings we still need the rest of Shawn's specs and photos, plus your B&P discount, and Brandon's call on whether powered hand trucks are in the opening set.
Timcarried forwardCG-MAX 3" wheels, photos to flip live. The 40 CG-MAX drafts are loaded and Brandon's pricing is uploaded. Only product photos are left. Confirm real shots are coming, or give the nod to launch on a CAD placeholder and we'll get all 40 live.
Tim / Brandoncarried forwardDeluxe Systems, two inputs to keep building. The brands you'd treat as quick-ship eligible, and the brands on the drop-down you definitely do not want on the Deluxe site. That shapes the solutions-first layout and the quick-ship section.
Tim / BrandonCompetitor gap analysis, any adds worth making. The full analysis is done: about 3,400 SKUs competitors carry that CC doesn't (mostly Albion ~2,100 and Blickle ~1,100), and on the flip side about 78% of CC's catalog is unique versus brand-comparable shops. It's a catalog-growth starting point, not a buy list. Open question for you and Brandon: any specific holes worth filling (Albion 02 Light, 05 Medium, 71, Pemco 25/35/45 were the real gaps), or leave it.
Timcarried forward5 happy customers for the review carousel. The carousel is live on the product pages and just needs content. Four or five more names we can ask gets it populated.

Quick things to confirm or eyeball on the call

Still parked, not new this week

Nothing's been dropped. These roll forward unless we close them on the call.
